More Event Information

We are thrilled to announce the TWELFTH Annual Golf Tournament and Auction to benefit Virginia German Shepherd Rescue! Just like fine wine, our annual tournament only grows better with age! How can you help make this event better? By signing up as a player, a sponsor, a donor, or all of the above! Please consider joining us to make this very worthy cause a great success. Even though we have saved over 4,000 dogs over the last 18 years, there is no end in sight of dogs that need our help.

If you are familiar with our work, you already know that VGSR is one of the few rescues in the area that helps elderly dogs and dogs with special needs or medical issues. Often, we are their only hope and it is only with your generosity and support that we can continue to assist so many dogs that need our help.

VGSR is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization run entirely by volunteers. One hundred percent of our funding comes from donations and fundraising efforts like the annual golf tournament. We depend on this event to help us pay for spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, medical exams, heartworm testing and treatment, and many other medical treatments that may be required. By joining us at the tournament, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful dogs VGSR has saved with your help.

Sponsors with signs on the course promote their businesses while giving back to the community they serve. In turn, this provides an advantage in marketing to a wide customer base. Individual sponsors have the opportunity to pay tribute to special friends and family (canines included) who have brought love and joy to their lives.
