The American Legion Charles L. Martin Post 1948 is a proud sponsor of P.E.E.R.S. Caring Home for Veterans. At P.E.E.R.S., our goal is to help rid our community of veteran homelessness by reducing the rate of veteran relapse. We aim to provide veterans leaving treatment centers and incarcerated environments with a healthy, holistic, strength-based, structured, clean and safe home environment that will give them a sense of value and improve their self-esteem. We aim to always put veterans first in the process of long-term recovery. P.E.E.R.S. is currently presenting its 1st Annual Tee Up For A Veteran Golf Tournament. This event will happen on Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Arrowhead Country Club located at 50 Ocala Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117. In order for this event to be a success we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community.
