More Event Information

For 27 years, the Paul Anderson Golf Classic has served as a strategic event through which God has provided the funding that is essential to serving the needs of troubled young men and their families.  Sponsored by Publix Supermarket Charities, the Paul Anderson Golf Classic has raised millions of dollars for our work with the young men needing a second chance and an alternative to incarceration.

What is the tournament schedule?

7:30 AM – Registration and breakfast

8:30 AM – Morning teams tee off

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:30 PM – Afternoon teams tee off

What is the format of the tournament?

The tournament is played as a 4-man scramble, with one group playing in the morning, and the other in the afternoon.  Prizes will be awarded at the end of the afternoon round.  Players may also participate in a putting competition for a small additional fee. The putting contest entry is complimentary for event sponsors and any member of a sponsored team. For sponsorship info, call 912-537-7237 or visit payh.org/sponsor.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No.

What can I bring into the event?

Whatever you like.  However, you don’t need to bring much more than your golf equipment.  Breakfast and lunch are provided, and we will keep you fed and hydrated on the course itself with grilling stations where you can enjoy hot food and cold drinks in the shade, as well as a mobile snack and drink cart.  The main thing we ask is that you do not bring alcoholic beverages.

What’s the refund policy?

Due to the nature of this event and its charitable purpose, we are unable to offer refunds.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes.  Please call us at 912-537-7237 to arrange this.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

Yes, as long as it has been transferred as above.
