Welcome to the event page for the 23rd Annual CCGC golf tournament presented by Walker Footings benefiting the Clay County Gator Club general scholarship fund. Sunday’s registration starts at 11:00am & we have a 1:00pm shotgun start. CCGC would like to have everyone registered before 12:30pm at the latest. At 12:45pm we will take a quick group photo (be sure to wear your best orange and blue golf gear). In between, please feel free to warm up on the driving range, etc. The format is four-person best ball scramble. After each hit, the “best” ball is selected, and the other three pick up and play the next shots within a club length of the best ball. Pace of play is important. Bogey is your friend. Once the team has hit its par attempts and any mulligans, please pick up and record a bogey on the hole. To maintain pace of play, do not make any bogey attempts, but rather immediately pick up, record a bogey and move to the next hole. Please remind your teammates and friends to bring cash for the purchase of mulligans, the 50/50 drawing and any other fun contests that we might run during the event. There will be a putting contest with a $5 buy in for a chance to win awesome gift cards & prizes. There will also be a putting contest and Additionally at each Par 3 has a closest to the pin and there is a long drive hole as well. We also have plenty of golf outings and silent auction items up for grabs again this year. The silent auction will most likely end at 6pm, we will notify you if your bid stands and you have already left the premises. Dinner is provided for everyone after golfing. We will also have an awards ceremony and we will give out a lot of prizes during dinner. Trophies once again be provided to the best and the worst golfers alike. We would like to also thank the community as usual for being very kind with donations of gift cards and items from various establishments and businesses.
