We are excited to welcome you to our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournamnet to benefit Operation Smile! Come and celebrate Columbus Day in style and help us give life-changing smiles to children across the world.
Enjoy a round of golf at the Deer Creek Country Club, one of Jacksonville’s finest private club with a beautiful championship golf course.
This event is a fundraiser for Operation Smile, a medical 501(c)(3) non-profit charity which provides life-saving reconstructive cleft surgeries worldwide to children born with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate. They have been in operation for 35 years and in their last fiscal year, Operation Smile organized 166 Medical Missions across 90 sites in 28 countries to provide 20,000 patients with more than 35,000 individual procedures.
Every 3 minutes, a child is born with cleft lip or cleft palate. Most do not survive their first birthday due to poor medical care and lack of access to safe surgery. Operation Smile has the scale and organizational capacity to help solve this problem and make a real difference. A single life-changing smile takes only 45 minutes of surgery at an approxiate cost of $240.
So bring your friends and your A game to this tournament. Enjoy the day, have fun and help support Operation Smile in their mission. All net proceeds from the tournamnet will be donated to Operation Smile.
