The same tournament you’ve grown to love is now a fundraiser for the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation. We’re taking over the long-established and much-loved Wooden Nickel Fall Classic golf tournament in Crested Butte after longtime organizers GJ Santelli and Eric Roemer have decided to retire from the event after 30 years. There will be a Skins Game/Practice Round on Sept. 8, followed by a Four-Person Scramble on Sept. 9 and Modified Best Ball on Sept. 10. Registration includes range balls, trophies and prizes, cart and greens fees and complimentary beverages. Limited to 30 teams (120 people), so register soon!
