Jackie’s Bio
Jackie was diagnosed in June 2015, with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She underwent an Autologous transplant at Moffett hospital in 2016. The treatment required hospitalization for three weeks and a month’s stay in Tampa.
In 2017, Jackie received Brentuximab treatment and began an immune therapy called Keytruda from 2018 to 2020. For the first time since being diagnosed, she had clear scans in 2020-2021.
Jackie’s cancer came back in July 2021 and began chemotherapy treatment. She was hospitalize for eight days for a reaction from the chemo in October of 2021. She suffered from a loss hearing for seven weeks and is currently dealing with bad neuropathy in her feet and hands.
In April of 2022, Jackie received a bone marrow transplant at Mayo Clinic, which required her to be hospitalized for three weeks. Currently she is staying in Jacksonville to make regular visits to the Mayo Clinic, hoping to be back home by July 1st.
