More Event Information

The James E Pollmiller Foundation’s 7th annual golf tournament is August 22nd at Wellshire Golf Course in Denver, CO. We are trying to surpass last year’s entry numbers (108) and reach a full tournament of 144 players, so please feel free to invite friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc to our tournament. Our brother Jim loved to entertain, and he always said “the more the merrier”, so we think that would apply to his tournament as well.

We have some great prizes again this year and will have a silent auction setup at the lunch. All proceeds from the event and auction benefit students at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado.

We would like to get everyone registered and paid by July 20th to make sure we have everything planned with the course well in advance.

Credit Card: Email me if you are interested in paying with a credit card I will send you an invoice (out of Square) and you can pay your entry with a credit card. Please note, there will be a 3.5% processing fee added to the invoice for credit card payments.

We are also looking for Hole Sponsorships so if you, your company or a friend are interested, we are asking a minimum of $200.00 for the sponsorship. We will have a yard sign made that will have the sponsor’s name or company logo, phone number, web address, etc to help our sponsors advertise. We will also include sponsor names/logo on a banner at the lunch, and on the rules page that will be out on all the golf carts.

If you would like to be a sponsor, please email Contact event using the form below. and we can get an invoice sent out to you for your records. If our sponsors have any marketing paraphernalia i.e. pens, magnets, lip balm, etc that you would like us to put in the “goodie bags” or on the hole you are sponsoring, please let me know and Sue or Jen can meet you to pick those items up.

This is such a fun day of golf and what a great way to help kids at Otero Junior College obtain their career goals with our scholarship foundation!
