This 9th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament draws fraternity brothers, corporate sponsors, business associates and golf enthusiast together in the name of education.  The funds generated from this event support the Alpha Merit Group, Incorporated. The Alpha Merit Group was initiated in 1964. The program is a component of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated’s Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter’s mentorship program. Since its inception, the program has mentored over 15,000 boys and has provided over $100,000 in scholarships.
