Baton Rouge Rugby Club is hosting a golf tournament at the Island Golf Course to benefit the Red Stick Youth Rugby Program! There will be a 4 man scramble format with $400 per team or $100 per player. We are looking for hole sponsors ($125 per hole), and since it will be mostly rugby players playing golf, there is a “small” mulligan fee and beer tickets available for each golfer! There will be the longest drive and closest to hole prizes- a rugby ball may appear on the golf course at any time. Winning team gets a tournament jacket and prizes!
This is an excellent event to help support the new Red Stick Youth Rugby program who has partnered with BREC. We will be starting youth play this spring with two youth teams and expanding to four teams by the summer.
