Join us as we have a good time for a great cause!!
Jordan Adams is a 29 year old liver transplant recipient. In 2016 he was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) that affects 1 in 100,000 people yearly. The disease causes the immune system to attack the liver bile ducts resulting in them becoming scarred and narrow, ultimately leading to liver failure. He was able to continue on with his life fairly well until December of 2018 when he was admitted to Duke Hospital where doctors told his family he most likely wouldn’t make it. He was able to receive the gift of life from an unknown donor on January 1, 2019. Today, Jordan is able to continue his life doing the things he has always loved including Wiffleball and golf and is excited to be welcoming his first child in August with his wife, Brittany. Unfortunately, Jordan’s condition has left him with a mountain of bills!!
Doors open at noon, tournament starts promptly at 1PM.
$20 entry fee per person, blind draw for teams, double elimination, and prizes for the top 3 teams. We will also do a 50/50 and have items available for a raffle. Fainting Goat Brewing will donate $1 from the sale of each beer during the event to Jordan as well as any proceeds from entry fees, 50/50, and raffle items.
And….if that wasn’t enough, the Cattail Q Catering truck will be on-site serving it up from 1-9PM!
