Rod Yeager, Retired Air Force Colonel and PGA Pro entered eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2017. Yeager had been a member of the PGA since 1991. He played amateur competitive golf while serving in the Air Force, winning tournaments such as the Air Force Worldwide Open Division Championship, the navy marine open, 4 USAF Senior Division Championships, and two Inter- Service Senior Championships. He also played in three PGA senior opens in 1996, 1997 and in 2000. He was known in Kansas City as the Director of Golf for the Kansas City Park Department’s 72 holes of municipal golf, and he had served in clinics and golf camps throughout his PGA career.
This Golf Tournament’s proceeds will be donated to PGA Hope (Helping our Patriots Everywhere).
