More Event Information

Southwest Colorado Community College is proud to present the Colorado Symposium on Emergency Care (CSEC) in beautiful Southwest Colorado.  The symposium will be May 4-7, 2017 in Ignacio, Colorado at the Sky Ute Casino Resort.  This year will bring new instructors as well as past instructors to the area which will give EMS and Healthcare providers an opportunity to learn and/or review necessary information for us to use when tending to our patients.  In addition, with us moving to the resort, we have many planned activities such as a vendor BBQ on Friday evening and team tournaments in Bowling, Mini-Golf and Horseshoes on Saturday evening. Breakfast and Lunch will be served each day.

The planning committee would like to thank you ahead of time for your continued support and attendance of the symposium.  We believe that the planned schedule continues to provide excellent continuing education in emergency medicine and have worked hard to bring in speakers that will provide new knowledge and techniques important for EMS providers to perform appropriate patient care.  Our pre-symposium sessions will offer a couple one day courses, as well as one two day and one three day course that will allow new certifications in the Four Corner Region. During the regular symposium days, attendees will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of programs including hands on training as well as lectures.  EMS participants from the Four Corner states will receive CE’s that are accepted by their respective state EMS offices.

SAVE MONEY AND PURCHASE EARLY. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS AT 5 P.M. ON MARCH 31ST. ANYTHING PURCHASED AFTER THIS DEADLINE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A PROCESSING FEE AS WELL AS A HIGHER FEE.

CANCELLATIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $50 PROCESSING FEE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED IF RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 21ST AT 5 P.M. BUT SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
