The Federal Technology Charity Open golf tournament was formed to support our local communities and national food security causes while connecting professionals who work in the federal technology space as vendors, partners, and integrators.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to donate to Feeding America, a first of its kind charity that supports food banks and pantries across the country. Every single dollar donated to Feeding America provides 10 meals! If we are able to raise $20,000 we will be able to provide 200,000 meals to American families in need.
Cisco has pledged to match every dollar we raise so we have a great opportunity to meet our goal!
In 2021, 50+ million Americans experienced food insecurity and lacked access to nutritious options.
98% of food banks since late 2020 have reported an increase in demand, 59% reported reduced inventory from lack of donations or funding, and 37% reported an immediate critical funding shortfall.
The Federal Technology Charity Open is proud to partner with Feeding America to support a national system of 60,000 food banks, pantries, and partners that support and feed millions of families every year.
Please register no later than 2 weeks before the event. Limited space is available. If you have a group, please email Contact event using the form below. with the information for your foursome. Individual players can register for $150 per person and will be matched with an open group.
Sign in opens at 8:30 AM with 9:30 AM shotgun start. Long putt, long drive, mulligan tickets, and 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold at the registration counter.
The tournament will be a “scramble” format with only purchased mulligans available for $5 each (max 4 per person). Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams as well as the long drive, long putt, closet to the pin, and 50/50 raffle winners.
Includes 18 holes of golf, unlimited range balls, cart, breakfast sandwich, Texas BBQ lunch, unlimited domestic and imported beer, and soft beverages are included. Silent auction will take place during the post round lunch banquet.
