“For the Love of Golf” is our chapter’s official spring kickoff event, and we’re ready to kick-out COVID and celebrate our love of golf and golf friends! The chapter is covering part of the price to make this event a great bargain with one low, all-inclusive price. Members are welcome to bring a guest including significant others, neighbors, coworkers – whoever! And prospective members are encouraged to attend to check us out.

Schedule:

• 9:45-11:45 — Check-in (recommend 30 min. before your tee time)
• 9:45-noon — Warm-up – balls available at range
• 10:30-noon — 18 holes of golf in new carts with GPS. Tee times every 8 minutes. Individual stroke play + a fun side game.
• At the turn — Box lunch – special diets supported
• After golf — Appetizers, prizes and socializing on patio or indoors

Since this is not a shotgun start, pairings will be assigned and participants notified of their tee time in advance. Players may select a cart partner.

New to Golf or to our Chapter?

New members /golfers can sign up during registration for a Birdie Buddy. A Birdie Buddy is an experienced chapter member who can help out on any questions about “golf etiquette” or can just be a welcoming face to partner with you for the day. A buddy isn’t necessarily a great golfer and isn’t meant to be a golf instructor, but they might give a few pointers if asked.

Just come for the Social Part

Not ready to golf with a group yet or unavailable for the golf portion? Join us for the after-golf social time only. Your ticket price includes light appetizers and 1 drink ticket. After-golf will run from around 2:30-5:00 with prizes being awarded to players around 4:30.
