More Event Information
The Georgia Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals (GAEP) is excited to announce its 7th Annual golf scramble to be held at the Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, Georgia, on September 27, 2021. Originally opened in 1996 as “Heritage Golf Club,” the golf course was nominated that year as one of the “Best New Golf Courses in America” by Golf Digest magazine. Today, the golf club still boasts one of the highest slope ratings in Georgia. The golf course is designed around a 20-acre lake, with water in play on several holes. The course’s rolling terrain and dramatic elevation changes provide stunning vistas. The course and event are open to golfers of all skill levels!
You may sign up as an individual or with your own foursome sponsorship. Each golfer’s registration includes green fees for 18-hole course, golf cart, snacks, lunch, prizes, and free green fees on a return visit. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Details can be found on the following page. Funds collected from players and sponsors will be applied towards the annual GAEP scholarship program to assist two students at a Georgia college or university studying an environmental field. Any contributions of prizes or gifts from your business would be welcome and appreciated, as well. For the first few years we raised enough funds to sponsor one undergraduate student and we have finally reached our long-time goal and are able to sponsor two students.
Due to the constantly evolving situation surrounding COVID, the Georgia Association of Environmental Professionals will be adhering to the most current CDC guidelines at the time of the tournament. Participants are strongly encouraged to socially distance and those who are unvaccinated are required to wear face coverings throughout the duration of the event.
