Please join us at Wayland Country Club on June 25th at 7AM to honor the life of our friend Steve Ghilani. All proceeds from this event will be gifted to the “Steve Ghilani Children’s Scholarship Fund.”

Your gift of $600 per foursome includes the following for each member of your team:

• Breakfast sandwiches and coffee prior to 7:30 shotgun start
• 18 holes of golf with cart
• Catered lunch and awards after tournament
• Contest for longest drive and closest to the pin

Can I make a donation if I am unable to attend the tournament?

Yes & Thank you. Just select the Donation ticket option and donate any amount you like. All donations will go to the Children’s Fund established for Steve’s three children Gina, Derek and Sophia.

I am not a golfer. Can I join the event?

YES! Join us for lunch after the event. A ticket option is available for both adults($50) and children, ages 12 & under ($30).

Should I bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring a copy of your ticket with you.

What is a forecaddie?

a forecaddie will follow your foursome around the course and will stand on the side of the fairway to keep track of your shots so you don’t lose your balls.

Can children play in the event?

Yes, however, children under 15 should play in a group with at least one adult

Is the donation tax deductible?

Consult your tax professional. Please note, we are NOT a 501(c)(3) designated charity. Your donations and proceeds from the event are being presented as a gift to the “Steve Ghilani Children’s Scholarship Fund”

Are there any fees involved?

Yes. Use of the online registration tool requires all tickets to be processed with a fee.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

We’ll rely on the course to determine if conditions are suitable for play. In the event we are unable to play all registered golfers will be given credit to play in the rescheduled event.

About our friend Steve:

Steve was a life-long resident of Natick who was extremely generous with his time and energy, giving both to others often. He was the guy that you could always count on to show up with a smile on his face and a hand to lend. His love for his family, friends and the town of Natick were always on display.

A devoted husband to Priscilla and loving father to Gina, Derek and Sophia, he was always there for his family and loved coaching the kids and did so in Football, Hockey, Baseball, Softball and was always willing to build or break down a cheer competition display.

Steve was the younger brother to Paul and Peter Ghilani. He followed Paul’s success as a quarterback and pitcher for Natick High School and worked with his brother Peter’s business, Ghilani Electric, as an electrician. Steve did countless side-jobs for his friends and often refused to accept payment.

With his friends, Steve made every card game, fishing trip, round of golf, sporting event and/or day better. His generosity was endless and he is missed by many.
