The Kansas Golf Foundation will be inducting the late J.L. Lewis into the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame on August 28, 2021 at Emporia Country Club in his hometown of Emporia, KS.
Welcoming his family, friends, and supporters, the event will honor his dedication to golf from high school golf to the PGA Tour to Head Golf Professional and beyond.
The Kansas Golf Hall of Fame was founded in 1991 to honor men and women who have made outstanding contributions to golf in Kansas. Categories of Hall of Fame members are: Amateur Player, Professional Player, Club Professional, Golf Course Superintendent, Coach, and Contributor to the Game. While qualifying for several categories, Mr. Lewis will be honored under the Professional Player category. He played in over 600 tournaments on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, and Korn Ferry Tour from 1990-2012.
