Golf needs a little refresh, and we believe the answer is female.
The fact that women everywhere want to learn how to golf, but are intimidated to step foot on the course made us believe that there needs to be a place for women of all levels to come together in an inclusive environment to learn about the sport, meet awesome women in the community, laugh, and improve our game. Who cares if you whiff the ball 12x in a row. That’s what the wine and music is for. If your boyfriend, husband, or SigO has been teaching you, and you’ve gotten frustrated and wanted to give up. No worries…We’ve got a place for you.

You’re cordially invited to be a part of #LEGS – The Ladies Executive Golf Society (We know, we know, it’s a fancy name, but we liked the acronym). We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.
The 1st Wednesday of the month=The #LEGS Improvement Club- Each month we will take a deep dive into a different aspect of the sport with golf super star instructors at Queen’s Harbour. They are not only golf magicians, but have a lot of experience with 4 year olds, so I think they can handle us.
The 3rd Wednesday is meant for PLAY- ‘Nine and Wine’ Best Ball Scramble. Meaning each player hits their own shot from the tee. The team then chooses the best shot. Players whose shots were not selected, go pick up their ball and the entire team shoots their second shots from where this “best shot” came to rest. So, if you hit a tree and get negative yardage, or into a person’s yard, or into an alligators mouth…you can just pick it up…except the alligator mouth. We recommend grabbing a new ball. Don’t be like Chubs.
The cost is $20 dollars. The Dalai Lama once said, “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.” So, $5 of the cost will go to the local non-profit, The Len Mattiace Foundation geared towards women empowerment, bringing kids to the game of golf and stopping bullying in local schools. So, even if you suck, you’re at least doing a good deed 😉
Make sure to sign up ahead of time, and don’t forget your music speaker, golf balls, and wine (or favorite adult beverage of choice.) Let me know if you DO NOT have clubs.
The Vision of #LEGS: to bring women together to build their business in an inclusive setting on the golf course to:

o Network and build business (LET’S BUILD MORE FEMALE LEADERS TOGETHER!)
o Improve golf confidence
o Have fun
o Experience the sport in an unorthodox female-friendly way
o Drink Wine
o Meet amazing women in the community
WHAT TO WEAR: Wear a collared shirt or tank and a tennis skirt, shorts, or pants. Just be comfortable. We see it all! Bring a jacket just in case!
WHAT TO BRING: Although not necessary, if you have clubs, tees, balls, by all means bring them. The format of ‘best ball’ can allow 1 bag of clubs for up to 4 people, so no worries if you don’t have clubs yet! Don’t forget your speaker, golf balls, and wine!
WHEN TO ARRIVE: Traffic can get bad, so plan to arrive between 5-5:45 to allow enough time to check in and not feel rushed. Our Tee time/Lesson is 6pm, so if you are running late let me know.
