“A master of the slice and we don’t mean pie!”

It was common to hear Lloyd’s voice hollering “Fore, right!” off the tees at Quit Qui Oc on any given day, and although we can no longer hear his personal forewarning of a stray Titleist heading slightly off course, we know his presence there still remains…likely, in the form of several dozen Pro V’s in the tall grass to the right of each fairway.  If you happen to find one, give it a good kick back onto the rough edge of the fairway and take a mighty swing—it’s fair!

The snow is melting, there’s a long line at the car wash, and Chester’s is open, so dust off your golf bags and clean off your irons because The fourth Annual Lloyd Streblow Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing is soon approaching! Last year’s event was a great time had by all, and despite the good, the bad and the not so gifted, you couldn’t find a somber face amongst our golfers! It was a lighthearted event filled with a lot of laughs, stories and a recollection of memories.  The 2018 event will be held on June 23rd at the Quit Qui Oc Golf Course.
