Four-week session Thursdays Jan. 21 – Feb. 11
In this course, Coach Milt will apply the foundations as taught by the Titleist Performance Institute to increase your strength and mobility so you can enjoy a pain-free, injury-free golf or athletic experience. Golf and the majority of sports require a strong lower body and the ability to transfer that power through your arms to the golf ball. Strength exercises, combined with mobility drills, work your muscles, tendons, and joints through an entire range of motion to help manage imbalances in the body and reduce the risk of injury while making your golf swing more efficient. Coach Milt believes this too applies to a variety of other sports as well as to daily life. You will learn an effective warmup, and exercises you can practice at home. After taking this class, you will have the potential to enjoy an improved playing experience!
Instructor/Coach Milt Staderman was a Deputy Sheriff for over twenty-five years and can attest to the importance of fitness. Staying fit and lifting weights has not only protected him physically but emotionally as well. He believes that staying fit allows each of us the ability to enjoy our favorite physical activities and sports without injury or pain. After years of coaching and training youth athletes in a variety of sports, Milt is currently coaching adults in CrossFit in Loveland, Ohio. In his leisure time, he enjoys tennis and golf, and outdoor adventure activities. He is a certified USA Olympic Lift Coach and Level 1 Coach through Titleist Performance Institute.
