More Event Information

The North Jersey Minerva Corporation will hold its inaugural charity golf classic on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, New Jersey. The day will begin with breakfast at 8:00am followed by 18-holes of golf with an awards reception immediately following golf.

A portion of event proceeds will benefit the NJ Go Red For Women Campaign/American Heart Association. Heart disease is the number one killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year and affects a significant portion of the communities we serve – many of whom unfortunately often go undiagnosed and undereducated about cardiovascular disease and prevention.

Every 80 seconds a woman will die of heart disease or stroke. While you can’t change risk factors like age and family history, you can make changes to your diet and lifestyle that can improve your heart health and lower your risk of heart disease and stroke. Help fight heart disease and stroke! Join us on June 25th for a great day of golf!

Women’s learn to play golf clinic includes 90-minute golf instruction, and golf equipment. Start time 11:30am. Clinic participants join golfers for awards lunch/reception in clubhouse immediately following clinic.

One (1) ticket to lunch only.

Tee Sign       $100

Entry fees are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. The North Jersey Minerva Corporation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Payment can be made by check or credit card.

FAQs

What should I wear to the event?

All persons must be properly attired and proper golf shoes must be worn. Standard golf course dress code:

Gentlemen – Shirts with a collar (Mocks are acceptable) and golf slacks/shorts are considered appropriate attire.  Shorts must be of conservative tailoring no more than 3” above the knee.  Tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, sweat pants, athletic shorts, swim trunks, tennis shorts and blue denim jeans and denim shorts are not permitted.

Ladies – Golf dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts, skorts, blouses and golf specific t-shirts are considered appropriate attire.  Skirts, shorts, adn skorts must be golf length (not tennis length) which is no more than 5” to 6” inches above the knee.  Tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, halter-tops, sweat pants, athletic shorts, swimsuits, and blue denim jeans and denim shorts are not permitted.

Caps and Hats, if worn, are to be worn with the brim facing forward.

There will be contest prizes for “Best Dressed Golfer” and “Best Dressed Foursome”, feel free to show off your stylish personality if you’d like to enter the contest.

I am planning to attend the Gathering on the Greens® golf clinic for women, what time should I arrive?

Participants in the Gathering on the Greens® golf clinic should arrive at 11:30AM. An email with specific instructions and directions to the clinic registation/check-in area will be emailed to all registered participants three (3) business days before the event date. Can I update my golf registration information?

Yes. You can log back into Eventbrite to add or change golfer names and registration info up to 10 days before the event.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. We realize situations come up and there may be a need to substitute players. You can do this by logging into the Eventbrite system and make the necessary updates to your registration up to 10 days before the event. If a late player substitution is needed less than 10 days before the event, you can do that by emailing us. Check-in with us at the registration table for substitutions that occur within 24-48 hours of the event.
