Registration for MCRAA’s Coach Eugene E. Clapp, Sr Scholarship Golf Tournament
Join the Miami Central Rockets Alumni Association (MCRAA) for a FUN & EXCITING Golf Event at the Inaugural Coach Eugene E. Clapp, Sr. Scholarship Tournament at Jacaranda Golf Course – 9200 West Broward Boulevard, Plantation, FL 33324. This event will take place on, Friday, September 15, 2023 at 8:00 AM (Registration starts at 7:00AM Eastern Daylight Time).
Coach Eugene E. Clapp, Sr. the Athletic Director at Miami Central Senior High, was a renowned figure in the sports & educational community of Miami-Dade County who on September 6th, 1981 at just 47 years of age, lost his life on the golf course as a result of being struck by lightning.
This event organized by MCRAA is a way to honor “Daddy Clapp’s” legacy by raising money to support scholarships and other educational activities and outlets for the students of Miami Central Senior High.
