Overview
Given the tremendous success of the inaugural Stuart Brenner Memorial Golf Outing last summer, I am thrilled to announce that the event is officially back for 2022!
This golf outing is aimed to serve as a symbol of remembrance for Stuart Brenner. Stuart passed away in January 2019 after a months-long battle with Stage-IV GI & Liver cancer. Stuart was known as such an outstanding and well-respected individual, in both his personal and professional life. Since Stuart was such an avid golfer, holding this event will be our way of paying tribute to such an incredible and loving man.
In honor of Stuart’s remembrance, this event will be contributing all net proceeds to Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, CT, as this is where Stuart spent most of his time receiving medical care. The contribution will directly impact the Oncology Social Work fund. Thanks to all attendees, donors, and sponsors of last year’s event, the outing raised nearly $15k for the Oncology Social Work fund in 2021.

What is the rain date policy?
In the event of cancellation due to poor weather, only the reception will be held (i.e., rain or shine). It will be up to the Event Organizer to decide whether to schedule a new date for the golf outing or to provide each attendee with an individual rain check for one round of golf.
