For the inaugural year, Menninger & Associates has teamed up with two fantastic charities that work hard yearly in the battle against pediatric cancer. Jake’s Dragon Foundation and The Connor McKenna Foundation regularly do fundraisers and help each other out as the families are not only close, but both celebrate the lives of their young sons who fought bravely against pediatric cancer. Less than 4% of the federal budget for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancer. Each day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States, which means 15,590 children in the U.S. are diagnosed each year. Both foundations dedicate all proceeds exclusively to pediatric cancer research, which is a substantial yearly contribution, helping children across the country.

The Courage Championship Golf Outing will be held at Linfield National Golf Course on Thursday, September 23rd. Registration begins at noon with a shotgun start at 1:00. Golfers will enjoy lunch before tee off, and a BBQ style dinner at 6pm. On top of food, each golfer will be given two complementary drinks of their choice. The winning foursome will be awarded crystal trophies as well as the winners of the longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting contests.
