More Event Information
Originally founded in 1897 as “Triple A”, The Highlands was relocated to its current location in 1902 to make way for the 1904 World’s Fair. Located in Forest Park, the course is surrounded by many St. Louis landmarks.
The course relatively flat, not overly long, easily walkable if you desire and is great for players of all skill levels.
Keagan’s will be open – but operated by a caterer while Dom is recovering from hip replacement surgery. So there may be a different menu. Who knows.
Tee times are between 4:00 and 4:50,
Cost is $22 to walk, $30 to ride.
Game this week is “Waltzing Matilda 2”: I’ll calculate everyone’s net score per hole based on your handicap for the round. Then I’ll pick a hole a random. From that hole number, I’ll count forward 1-2-3 and pick that hole. I’ll repeat this. (i.e. I pick hole 5 to start. Counting forward 1-2-3, the next hole is 8. Doing in again – hole 2). Low net score for the those 3 holes wins. If there is a tie, the dance will continue until one person is left.
