On Friday, July 12th, 2019 the family and friends of Irene Turilli-Bourne & George Bourne are hosting its 1st Annual Golf Tournament at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading, MA. Both Irene & George were former residents of North Reading. Irene was a teacher in the North Reading/Reading Public Schools and George was a Postal Carrier at the North Reading Post Office and Ranger at the Hillview Golf Course. Part of Irene’s legacy is the family’s commitment to help Seniors at North Reading High School pursue their degree in education. The proceeds raised from the golf tournament will be donated to the Turilli-Bourne Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Senior at the North Reading High School who is going to college to pursue a degree in education. The scholarship fund is managed by the North Reading Town Hall Trust Fund Committee.
We are actively seeking sponsors and players for our golf tournament. Please consider joining us on Friday, July 12th. Your participation and/or sponsorship are greatly appreciated and help a very worthy cause.
