Join us at Valley of The Moon Golf Course for a day of golfing fun and your chance to compete for the ultimate golf prize during the final tournament, a $10,000 Pebble Beach Resort gift certificate, enough to cover the cost of a foursome round at Pebble Beach Golf Links and a three-night stay for four at the Pebble Beach Lodge!!!
Golfers may register for the event as a four golfer “team” or as a pair, singles will NOT be eligible to register without a playing partner. “Teams” will be separated into two playing pairs the day of the event and compete in a two-person scramble format. Each pair will turn in their scorecard and handicap strokes will be applied. The “team” with the lowest net total combined score earns their right to play in the final tournament. The winning “team” of the final tournament will receive a $10,000 gift certificate for Pebble Beach Resorts.
Registration cost will cover green fees, cart, range balls and entry to closest to pin competitions on each par 3 for $100 cash.
Check-in will begin an hour and a half before play where starting hole and position will be assigned and mulligans (limit 4 per golfer) will be available for sale at $5 each.
Pairing handicaps will be calculated using 35% of the lower indexed player and adding 15% of the higher indexed player’s handicap .
Stroke play will be used for scoring purposes and both pairs from each team will total their scores for a combined score. The lowest net team total will be the winner of the days event and earn a right to play in the final tournament. All players will tee from the blue tees the day of play.
Ties will be determined using total net score of last nine holes, then 6, then 3 and finally 1 until we have a winner. In the circumstance that a winner is not determined using this method we will go to a hole-by-hole comparison of handicap hole number one, then two, then three etc. to determine a winner.
