The Bill Flounder Uehlinger – Live For More Tomorrows Foundation was established in memory of Bill Uehlinger, who courageously battled colon cancer.

For two years, Bill took on this disease with optimism and courageousness. He spent his time living life to its fullest, enriching the lives of all those who knew him. To believe in the life of love, to walk in the way of honor, to serve in the light of truth. Bill vowed to live every day of his life in this way. He devoted himself to loving and serving others. He fought cancer with every fiber of his being. Someone reminded him of the words of Stuart Scott, “You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live.” He never let cancer hold him back. He lived to help others, to love others, and to honor others. And he did all that while he was suffering himself. The legacy of his life and his service to others will live on through his kids, Emma and Will. They have seen all that their dad has done, and his values will carry on through them. Bill Uehlinger was one of a kind. He was an incredible husband, father and friend. He always had a head full of knowledge, a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen and a hand willing to help others. He is a great example of living your life with purpose.

To celebrate Bill and honor his legacy, the Foundation is hosting its inaugural golf tournament, which will be held at Bunker Hill Golf Course in Medina, Ohio on Saturday, August 6, 2022. All proceeds raised from the golf tournament will help to fund causes that Bill worked tirelessly to support – Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, a scholarship fund in Bill’s name for Kappa Lambda Chapter of Sigma Nu at the University of Akron and a scholarship fund for his children.
