The Billy Winn Memorial Golf Tournament began as a way for Bill’s family to remember, celebrate and pay forward the love, dedication, sportsmanship and community spirit of a small­town husband, father, coach and mentor. Multiple scholarships each year have been given out in Bill’s name since the funds inception in 2010 . Our primary fundraiser is this golf tournament, and thanks to the dedication of our golfers, donors and sponsors, we have been able to spread countless amounts of generosity throughout the community that Bill loved so much. We have expanded our reach by not only awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors and donating to countless local charities; but by also creating a separate but equally impactful community contribution; the Billy Winn Basketball Association; a youth recreation basketball league for the children of Clinton.
