12th Annual Michael Thompson Memorial

Benefit Golf Tournament and Dinner

Michael Thompson embodied the concept of “Think Global and Act Local.”  His care and compassion for others was continuously demonstrated by his service to local organizations that supported children, young adults and families.

The goal of this tournament is to raise funds to support the children of families that are experiencing difficult circumstances similar to those Mike and his family endured.  

The vision of the Board for the Michael Thompson Memorial Foundation is that families with young children that have endured a tragedy affecting a parent would be touched by the generosity of others in honor of Michael, a man who was always committed to the well-being of others.  

Similar to last year’s tournament, we will be using both the Eagle Vines and Chardonnay Golf Club’s courses. Golfers on both courses will receive lunch, a goodie bag, a golf cart, and admittance to the reception/buffet dinner. While golfing, try your luck at winning a new car or $10,000 at one of our hole-in-one contests!  

Whether you’re a participant in the event, a volunteer on one of our event committees, or a new or returning sponsor, we look forward to and greatly appreciate your support for this worthy cause.

Registration will begin at 9:30 am on Friday, September 22nd, with the shotgun at 11 am.
