More Event Information
This is the official registration page for the 2nd Annual GE Florence Lloyd Trotter Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year we will be gathering at The Country Club of South Carolina in Florence, SC to engage in friendly competition, food, fun, and FUNDRAISING!!! All proceeds from this event will go directly to helping support the GE African American Fourm’s Lloyd Trotter Scholarship.
Since 1995, the GE AAF Lloyd Trotter Scholarship Fund has generated $2.25 MM, helping make the college dream a reality for deserving and talented students. Since its inception, over 500 individual scholarships have been awarded.
Our 2016 GE-wide campaign generated over $250K including company matching gifts. These contributions enabled multiple interns to receive scholarships across GE and this Tournament was a huge part of making that happen.
We are excited about this year’s campaign to support scholarships through the National Association of Black Accountants, National Society of Black Engineers, National Black MBA Association, The Jackie Robinson Foundation, and the African Leadership Foundation.
