More Event Information
The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational (Dow GLBI) is an official LPGA Tour event that will be held in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region July 10-16, 2022 at Midland Country Club. The Dow GLBI is the first team event played for official money and points and became the first fully GEO Certified® sustainable tournament on the LPGA Tour since its inception in 1950. The tournament is played with 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball) with a $2.5 million purse.
The week-long event features more than golf. It includes an official LPGA Tour Pro-Am Tournament, STEM Center, youth related programming, Eat Great Trail and leadership events. This inclusive event offers free daily youth opportunities, affordable ticket prices, and free admission for kids 17 and under as well as past and present Military personnel. Dow’s 125th Anniversary Community Celebration – Wednesday, July 13, 2022
- In addition to free admission on Wednesday, July 13 to celebrate Dow’s 125th anniversary, spectators can obtain a complimentary lunch voucher for use that day. The first 5,000 spectators on Wednesday will also receive a commemorative Dow 125th anniversary giveaway. To receive your lunch vouchers and giveaways, visit the Dow 125 interactive experiential tent located just past the Dow GLBI’s main admissions gate. Spectators are asked to reserve their free Wednesday ticket in advance by clicking or tapping on the “Tickets” button.
PLEASE NOTE: No physical tickets are distributed onsite. You must print your Eventbrite tickets or download them in the Eventbrite App.
Keep track of of your digital ticket by printing off your Eventbrite ticket or download the Eventbrite app on your iPhone or Android. Once the app is downloaded, follow the steps below to locate your electronic tickets on the app:
– Login using the email address on your order and your Eventbrite password.
– Tap the profile icon (far-right side of the bottom toolbar).
– Find your order (Upcoming events show first. Swipe up to see tickets registered for past events).
– Tap the “tickets” icon to select.
– Show your ticket to scan at the Main Admissions Gate.
