More Event Information

Since its inception in 1999, the Scholarship Golf Tournament has raised over $234,000 with over $13,400 raised at 2017 event. Each year, the Gator Club of Volusia County donates between 10-13 scholarships to deserving Volusia County high school students attending the University of Florida. We annually give out more than $10,000.00 in scholarships. This tournament, including the support of tournament sponsors (see complete list below), make the scholarships possible. There will be raffle/mulligan tickets, free Krispy Kreme Donuts, Bloody Mary’s sponsored by Charlie Schaeffer, Par 3 events, free Imported Beer sponsored by Colin Hof, Free Water and Soda sponsored by Larry McDermott

The 2016 Tournament featured 112 players, over 100 raffle gifts and almost 50 sponsors and a great time had by all!! Each player recieved a Gator Club of Volusia County golf hat and a Gator umbrella. Our raffle gifts were drawn during golf-easy picking-no waiting! A great hot buffet lunch by the great staff at Halifax Plantation.
