Here is your official “Chix with Stix” invitation!
“Chix with Stix” is BACK and will be held on September 10th at Raymond Memorial Golf Course and we are excited to say that it will be worth the wait! This “ladies-only golf outing” is offered to all Columbus architects and designers, so come out and join us to raise money for a good cause. This is not an outing for serious golfers only; in fact this golf outing will be fun for all skill levels. The main purpose is to have fun while we raise money to benefit The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Thanks to your enthusiasm and the support of our sponsors, we have donated over $500,000 to the James in just 22 years! Together, we CAN make a difference!
For the past 15 years, we have donated directly to the Stefanie Spielman Fund. As Stephanie’s Fund is covered through the year in the media, our hope is you will associate the Fund with Chix with Stix.
A few items to note:
We are utilizing Eventbrite again this year for our golfer registration. We hope this is convenient for you and your companies to make credit card payments. If you would like to avoid a service fee, please feel free to make a check payment. Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for further direction.
We will have our Beverage and Photography Sponsors again this year; to help you fill up your cooler with beverages prior to tee off and take the fun photos that we all love to see after the event is over.
TEE TIME –registration will start at 10:30 am, TEE OFF at 11:45 am.
We will have the “Team Spirit” contest again this year, one of the more creative aspects to this event. The brave volunteers will be judging the team with the “Most Spirit”. So, teams…get your Chix Spirit going!!!
We will be hosting the tenth annual raffle at Chix this year. We are working on some amazing prizes, so bring your cash and credit cards to buy tickets! We hope this will be most profitable and allow the Chix with Stix participants and sponsors to donate even more this year. Tickets will be available the day of Chix and will be $3 for 1 ticket or $5 for 2 tickets. For every $20 spent on raffle tickets, you will receive 1 ticket into the grand prize drawing. Please contact a committee member with any questions regarding the raffle.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us at Raymond Memorial Golf Club on Friday September 10, 2021 for “Chix with Stix”.
