The Annual Diggers & Duffers Golf Tournament is an ongoing tradition for the University of Arizona’s SME Student Chapter and acts as our primary fundraiser. Throughout the past few years, we have had a dramatic increase in membership and participation, and were even able to send over 40 students to MINEXCHANGE in Salt Lake City, Utah. The proceeds from this tournament are used to directly help student members experience meaningful professional and educational opportunities. These include sending students to MINEXCHANGE in Denver, the Intercollegiate Mining Games in Australia, and on field trips to mine sites and other educational locations.

We wouldn’t be able to grow our members into the industrial professionals and leaders of tomorrow if not for your generous contributions.
