More Event Information
The Brian Strong All Heart Foundation will be hosting its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place at Bradford County Club on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
On June 28th, 2019 we lost Brian at the age of 41 to congenital heart defect. Brian struggled his entire life with this condition, starting at the age of 2 with an open heart surgery to have a cortex shunt implanted. Over the years he had an additional 4 open heart surgeries, 3 strokes, and dialysis up to 4 times a week.
Brian leaves behind a loving family, including his wife Allison and his daughters Emily age 11 and Shannon age 7. All proceeds from the golf tournament will go to support his family and his favorite charity, It’s My Heart New England. http://www.itsmyheartnewengland.org/
Due to COVID-19, this years tournament will be a little different. There will not be a shotgun start. We will have to have tee times. Please see the instructions below. We will also not have contest this year due to the pandemic. Lets just go out, have a great time golfing, and celebrate Brian!
Registration for the tournament will begin at 11:40 AM and the first tee time will be at 12:00 PM. Tee times will be every 10 minutes. A hamburger lunch will be served prior to tee-off. Please arrive only 20 minutes prior to your tee time.
Dinner will follow golf, beginning at 4:30 PM for the first golfers to come off the course. Dinner will feature silent auction items, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle. This year we will have a sit down dinner due to the restrictions on buffets. We are also limited to 50 people under the tent. This means that we are going to sell out fast! Please sign up ASAP to reserve your spot.
