We are pleased to announce our second annual Supporting Afghan Families, Inc.,  spring golf tournament and dinner event is scheduled for May 14, 2022. All proceeds of the event go towards our charity.   Make new friends while golfing and socializing, and help change lives of our Afghan families in need.   This charity event is currently expected to be limited to the first 100 golfers, so reserve your space quickly.

Entry fee of $160 includes golf, and a Banquet dinner. Additional and separate dinner attendees (spouses, family, friends) can be added at a price of $40 per person.   Reserve a round for four for $600 total.  There is likely to be a limit on dinner attendees, as well, with first preference given to golfer’s dinner requests and donors.

The last day to register for this event is May 7, but we recommend registering by April 24 so we can meet all your preferences.

Much like our successful October 2021 golf tournament, play will be a shotgun start over 18 holes at the Eagle Crest Resort Ridge golf course. The format this spring will be a traditional 4 person scramble with a few interesting twists and hole specific challenges. You may make up your own foursome with an optional ticket purchase, or we will complete the foursomes for you.  We will have exciting, fun golf putting and “closest to the pin” competitions and prizes for our winners.   We even have a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one (hole 16).

We have a 9:30 AM “shotgun start.” Please be there by 8:00 AM for check-in and putting competition. Again, range balls and carts are included.

The dinner event will offer a full, catered Western BBQ dinner with tri-tip, chicken, all the “fixings, ” no-host bar, a 50-50 raffle, silent auction and special guest speakers.    Dinner is served at 5:00pm but please free to start socializing as early as 4:00 pm.
