In 2021, the 1st Putting for a Purpose golf tournament raised $47,585 that benefitted a local breast cancer survivor. Last year, we raised just over $13,000 which benefitted Cy-Fair Helping Hands. This year’s proceeds will benefit Elijah Rising. Elijah Rising was founded in 2012 as a prayer gathering that focused on ending sex trafficking in Houston. The mission of Elijah Rising is to combat sex trafficking through prayer, awareness, intervention, and restoration. To learn more about Elijah Rising visit elijahrising.org.
Putting for a Purpose 2023 will take place on Thursday, May 4, at BlackHorse Golf Club. There are sponsorships available and registration is open. Registration is not free. Please visit Golfer registration will be at 11:30 am and shotgun start at 1 pm followed by a dinner reception at 7 pm.
