The Uncle Benny/Warren Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament was established in 2016 to help raise awareness about lung disease.
Both Uncle Benny and Warren had lung issues that caused several complications as they got older. Uncle Benny passed away in October 2012 and we lost Warren in September 2015. They were both loved by all who crossed their paths. Our intention is to ensure that their memories live on long after their deaths. Uncle Benny and Warren loved the game of golf and thankfully, they were both able to play until late in their lives. What better way to remember them than to hold a memorial golf tournament in their honor and donate the funds to the American Lung Association.
Last year’s tournament had over 128 golfers and we expect even more this year. Please join us Thursday, September 26th at Red Wing Lake Golf Course in Virginia Beach.
Registration: 8:00 am
Shotgun Start: 9:30 am
The fees include Golf, Cart, Range Balls, Goodie Bag, Coffee, Doughnuts, Drink Tickets, After Party at Chichos on General Booth Blvd (Strawbridge Shopping Center) and much more.
*Raffle tickets will be on sale 1 for $2.00 3 for $5.00 12 for $20.00
