Advancing Education “Fore” Our Families

Thank you for playing in the 5th Annual Scholarship Par-Tee Golf Tournament! Every dollar will go towards scholarships and academic incentives for SAHA college bound youth. This tournament will be played in a four-person scramble. Sponsorships available! (See tickets)

Did you know…? The Education Investment Foundation is…

The only scholarship foundation in San Antonio for youth of Public Housing & Section 8 Programs.

What is EIF? The Education Investment Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) affiliate of the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA).

  Created to empower youth residing in public housing or Section 8 subsidized properties.

  Since 1991, EIF provides incentives to K-12 students as motivation to graduate and attend college.

  Developed 2 main programs:  Education Empowers Scholarships and the Perfect Attendance R.E.AC.H. Award

  Recognized for 2 national Awards in 2014

  Provides over 200 R.E.A.C.H. awards to children of SAHA residents, who maintain Perfect Attendance and/or A&B Honor Roll throughout the school year.

  Since 1999, EIF has presented 3,270 students, grades K-12, with rewards for Perfect Attendance and/or A&B Honor Roll.

  Our graduates have gone on to receive advanced degrees in fields, such as, Computer Technology, Nursing, Optometry, Biology and Law.
