More Event Information
Avery Lee passed away from complications with Liver disease. Avery had an Auto Immune Disorder, where his immune system would fight against itself, and opened the door to several other diseases that invaded his immune system.
For 20 years, Avery suffered and fought:_1) Liver disease _2) Total hearing loss at the young age of 40. _3) Ulcerative Colitis _4) A Liver transplant in 2007, _5) Kidney Disease due to having his Kidneys fail before his Liver transplant in 2007.
But in his 20 year battle, his Doctors have learned how to help save the lives of many many more because of Avery’s bravery!
No matter if you are a scratch golfer, a weekend warrior or if you dust off the clubs once a year, you will want to attend this outing. It is a great way to meet fellow Cal Alumni, current students and especially, members of the devine 9.
Come out for a worthy cause of creating scholarships for Black Cal students.

In addition to participating in the golf classic, there are many other ways to take part in this outstanding event:
Sponsorships – A great way to promote your business or show family support!
Donations for Door Prize and Grand Raffles – items such as gift cards or gift baskets all the way up to larger gifts, such as TV’s or tickets to concerts/sporting events help drive additional fundraising
Volunteers – Non-golfers can enjoy the day alongside the golfers by helping with registration, ticket sales and contests
Dinner Guests – If you can’t make it out for the day, come by for the evening festivities, including dinner, open bar, raffle drawings and after hour Cigar tastings.
Or simply, donate to the worthy cause of education advancement to our proud, strong and brilliant college students.
