We are honored to announce the newly created Biddle Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a graduating high school student who has made a particular community service contribution to youth sports and athletics. The funds raised during the Biddle Memorial Golf Tournament will contribute to the scholarship. The Horn/Biddle family is grateful to the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island Scholarship Foundation, for administering the Biddle Memorial Scholarship.

Offering scholarships to high school seniors is a fundamental part of the DNA of the Rotary Club, and since 1957 it has awarded scholarships to students that exemplify the Club’s motto of “Service above Self.” Troy and Baden clearly embraced this ethos. In their honor, the money raised will be held in a restricted account and used, until it is exhausted, to award the Biddle Memorial Scholarship. Through your generosity, we hope this is possible to do for many years to come.

Troy and Baden shared a passion for sports along with a commitment to family, friends and their community. We hope you will join us to carry that love forward—in their names. Although they are missed each moment, the Biddle Memorial Golf Tournament provides us (regardless of golf acumen) a day to celebrate the impact that they had, their commitment to others, and to enjoy time with old and new friends. The guys lived life to its fullest, let’s not let them down!
