We are thrilled to be able to provide this opportunity for the Hollis community to gather! Because of the on-going pandemic, we have made changes to the tourney format that will ensure the health and safety of all involved.

Registration opens at 10 AM on Monday, August 3rd. Please register your foursome and choose your preferred tee-time window at that time. Contact us with any and all questions. See below for complete tourney information.

The Blessings Abound Golf Benefit is an annual golf tourney benefiting Hollis Renewal Center. This four-person scramble will be played at the Golf Club at Falcon Lakes in Basehor, Kansas. Tourney will begin as a tee-time start, beginning at 8:00 AM with teams teeing off every 10 minutes from hole #1, until 11:00 AM. Tee times are first come, first serve so make sure and select your tee time when you register your team!

We have space for 72 individual golfers (18 teams) to play and participate in a variety of contests along the course. Winners from 3 flights will be awarded prizes at awards ceremony immediately following lunch. Participants also can participate in a 50/50 drawing, broadcast via Facebook Live on the Hollis Facebook page, at a time TBD.

REGISTRATION & TEE TIME INFORMATION

You can register as a four person team or as an individual golfer.

  • Individual Golfer – $100*
  • 2-person team – $200
  • 4-person Team – $380

*Note: If you register as an individual golfer, we are limiting your team to 1 additional person, which will be assigned their own golf cart. We will not pair 4 individuals as a team.

TEE TIME REQUEST

When registering, all participants must also select a tee-time block. All tee times will be released at 10 AM on Monday, August 3rd. Please choose your preferred tee time at time of order. You will be contacted no later than Friday, August 28 via email to provide your specific tee time. Blocks are as follows…

  • Block #1: 8:00-8:50 AM (6 slots available)
  • Block #2: 9:00-9:50 AM (6 slots available)
  • Block #3: 10:00-10:50 AM (6 slots available

Participants will receive the following for their registration.

  • 18-holes of golf with cart
  • Access to driving range and putting green
  • Goody bag (includes water, and snacks) Additional snacks provided at the turn.
  • 2 drink tickets for use on the course or in club house
  • Photos of your foursome
  • Coffee before play

All registrations for this event will be handled on-line via Eventbrite at no additional cost to you. When registering your 4-person team we will require each player’s name and corresponding email address. If you do not have this information immediately available, please indicate as such on the form and email us their information at your earliest convenience at Contact event using the form below.

FORMAT

Four-person scramble, with staggered tee-time start.

  • Teams will tee off every 10 minutes, starting at 8 AM.
  • Teams can choose a 1-hour window at registration for preferred tee time.
  • We will contact you no later than Friday, August 28 with your specific tee time.
  • Teams should arrive no more than 45 minutes before assigned tee time.

Upon completion of play, turn score card into Pro-Shop for flight assignment.

  • Prizes awarded to winners of 2 separate flights.
  • Scoring will be tracked LIVE on GOLF GENIUS app
  • Winners will be announced on the Hollis Facebook page, via Facebook Live Broadcast. Broadcast time will be announced day of the event.
  • Arrangements will be made by Hollis staff to deliver prizes to winners.

ATTIRE Collared shirts, no jeans, no metal spikes.

COVID19 PRECAUTIONS

  • Social distancing encouraged
  • Masks required for entry to Club House

SCHEDULE

  • 7:15 AM Golfer Check In
  • 8:00 AM First team tees off
  • 11:00 AM Last team tees off*
  • TBD: Flight awards and prize drawings on Facebook Live*

*Note: Timing of awards will be determined by speed of play by all participants.

LUNCH & AWARDS

Hollis will provide a snack box at the turn for all golfers. You are welcome to purchase additional items in the Eagles Nest Bar & Grill.

In lieu of an in-person awards ceremony, winners of flights, course contests, and 50/50 raffle will be announced live on the Hollis Facebook page, at a time to TBD. Winners will be notified via email, and arrangements will be made to deliver prizes.

PLAYER PACKAGE – $20

  • 2 mulligans
  • 1 try for Closest to the Pin – 10 feet or less on a Par 3
  • 1 try for Longest Drive ( 3 winners: Men (18-64) | Women | Men (Over 65) )

50/50 RAFFLE – $5/tickets or 5 for $20

50% goes to Hollis 50% goes to you! Don’t miss out! Purchase tickets via Eventbrite or with cash the day of the tourney. Winner will be announced via Facebook Live, and arrangements will be made to deliver winnings via email.
