Children’s Hospital Pitt Alumni Celebrity Golf Tournament

The Oakland Zoo works with Champion Lakes Golf Resort to put on a charity fivesome golf scramble to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, benefiting medical research, community programming, and injury prevention. Teams consist of four registered golfers, plus a Pitt Alumni Celebrity selected the day of the event.

This year’s tournament will be held Saturday, May 20 at Champion Lakes Golf Resort, Pennsylvania’s premiere golf course destination in Ligonier. The cost is $500 for a team of 4, plus a celebrity golfer. The cost includes a cart, dinner, and prizes. Tee sponsorships and other sponsorship opportunities are also available – please contact us for details.

This year also marks the first year of being able to purchase use of a private twosome cart to serve as a Pitt Alumni Celebrity “chauffeur” for the day. While you won’t be golfing, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get to know one of your favorite Pitt Celebrities. The cost is $75 and includes all day use of a private twosome cart with a celebrity and dinner. Your celebrity will be chosen the day of the event.
