Join Cy Creek 1988 Alumni To Celebrate Our 30th High School Reunion

It’s hard to believe it has been 30 years since we walked the halls of Cy Creek High School. It’s time we reunite to reflect on our high school days and celebrate our lifelong friendships and reconnect with classmates.

This Eventbrite page will be the official source of information about the weekend and it will be the only place to buy tickets and to RSVP to weekend activities. As we get more event details, we will update this Eventbrite page, so make sure to visit often (plus we will send notifications).

July 27-29 Weekend Planned Activities

Friday to Sunday, July 27-29 — Special Hotel Room Rate at Marriott

  Location: The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center

  Details: Thanks to Amy (Thornton) Bates, we secured an event-only special hotel rate at the event site hotel. For hotel reservations, please call the Waterway Marriott at +1 (800) 228-9290. When booking, please reference “Cy Creek Class of 1988 Reunion” to get the special rate. We pre-reserved (and paid!) for a 10-room block and it’s only good until June 27, so please reserve as soon as possible to ensure you get a room at the special rate.

Friday, July 27 — Golf Tournament / Outing

  Location: Course in the Woodlands.

  Details: Format will be a 4-person scramble, shotgun start, you organize your own foursome. Hoping to have a few prizes pending number of participants (long drive, closest to the pin, etc.).

Friday, July 27 — Astros Baseball Game (vs. Rangers)

  Time: 7:10 PM (game start time)

  Important Note: This requires purchasing your ticket in advance so that we can get a block of seats together.

  Details: We will distribute tickets in the hotel lobby (near the front desk) between 3:45 and 4:15 PM game day. Transportation to/from the game is not provided.

Friday, July 27 — Dinner Reservations / Restaurants Near Hotel

  Time: We will make dinner reservation blocks at nearby restaurants starting at 7 PM.

  Cost: The reservation is free; however, your dinner is not 🙂

  Details: We’ll have sign-ups for each reservation block on Eventbrite. It’s first come, first serve basis.

  
  

Saturday, July 28 — Class Of 1988 Reunion Party / Main Event

  Cost: $95-ticket (per person). This includes heavy appetizers, two drink tickets (beer or wine), decorations, room rental, A/V equipment, and music throughout the event. A confirmed paid ticket is required for this event. A cash bar will be available.

  Attire: Dressy casual.

  
  


• 
  

  Details: We will need a confirmed head count of event attendees a week before the event to ensure we have the right amount of food and event room size. Please note, there will only be 20 tickets available for purchase ($125-ticket) at the door the night of the event. We will have name tags at the door.

  
  

Saturday, July 28 — Event After Party

  Details: Didn’t have enough time to catch-up at the event? Then head on down to the main lobby bar for an after party. It’s informal, and there are great spots inside and outside to reconnect with friends.

  
  

Sunday, July 29 — Brunch / Family Day

  Details: This is informal and each person is on his/her own. Several people talked about getting families together on Sunday. There are great places to connect on and near the hotel site.
