American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) remembers the contributions of safety engineer and Society Fellow, D.A. Weaver. In 1990, D.A. Weaver was named a “Fellow” of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). In 1996, he was inducted into the Safety and Health Hall of Fame International. D.A. passed away on July 22nd, 2013 in Pueblo, Colorado. Because of his legendary contributions to the safety profession, the ASSE Southern Colorado Chapter envisioned a scholarship fund that memorializes this man and wishes to assist students aspiring to acquire an Environmental Health & Safety degree, professional certification in safety.
