More Event Information
The Ethel Ransom Humanitarian and Cultural Club of Fort Worth will host its Inaugural Scholarship Golf Tournament fundraiser. Established in 1933, the organization’s mission is to promote education, literacy and interracial understanding while raising the standard of the home by advancing the social, economic, moral, civic and religious welfare of the family.
For several years now, the organization has promoted education by providing scholarships to deserving students in the underserved communities of Fort Worth. The goal this year is to make a greater impact in the community with the success of the tournament. However, we realize you and/or your company is the key to our success.
We are honored to have one of Fort Worth’s own, two-time NFL Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots, Mr. Bethel Johnson, serving as our honorary chair for this inaugural tournament. The format for the tournament is a 4-person scramble (best ball) and awards will be presented for first through third place finishes as well as for longest drive and closest to the pin competitions for men and women. As well, awards will also be presented to first place ladies and co-ed teams and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Participants will include professional athletes, community leaders, and corporate executives. Please support this worthwhile organization that has been doing some amazing work in the community where we live and work.
