More Event Information

No child left inside! Grab the kids and create some fun winter memories with our Family Cross Country Ski Outing at Sinnissippi Golf Course. We will meet at the clubhouse at Sinnissippi, not the store. We have access to the clubhouse, where Hot Cocoa will be waiting for you when we are done.

This family friendly (we can equip youth as young as 5) ski outing will start with instruction where you will learn about proper equipment fitting, basic skiing techniques, and how to properly dress for winter outdoor activities. After this we head out for some drills and practice how to get up from a fall, proper pole placement, different ski techniques such as poling and striding, how to engage the ski with the snow, and how to slow down or stop. Remaining time left in the class is for you to ski around the trail, practicing what you learned!
