More Event Information
Since 2005, the Ybor City Chamber Golf Tournament has supported scholarships for students enrolled in Hillsborough Community College’s Film and Digital Media Programs at the Ybor City Campus. The scholarship was created in honor of long-term HCC Ybor City Campus President and Ybor City Chamber Board Member, Dr. Lois Gaston.
The scholarship has supported students studying graphics, radio, television, film, acting, and theatre. Additionally, proceeds from the tournament go to support Chamber cultural events that promote the businesses and residents of Ybor City.
Ybor City Chamber of Commerce and HCC have now teamed up to help raise even more awareness and money for scolarships. Join us at TopGolf on Saturday, November 19th for a networking type tournament. Meet local golf pros, get lessons, play games, eat, drink and play some golf! More information to follow.
